Haven Stables is a private, family farm located in Port Republic, Virginia. It is situated on 89 acres of beautiful farmland, with peaceful views of the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountains. Haven is only 20 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University making it a perfect facility for college students wanting to bring a horse to school. We are also centrally located to the Virginia Horse Center and other popular show venues. Our mission is to provide horses excellent care in a beautiful facility and to promote an environment of encouragement, growth, and well-being for their owners.

Haven Stables is also the home of Cross Keys Equine Therapy, Cross Keys Equine Therapy provides equine-assisted services to individuals, couples, families and groups, which is separated into Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP™️) and Trauma-Informed Equine Assisted Learning (TI-EAL).
Please note that the facilities will be shared between the two businesses.
